Truly the highlight in our MID-YEAR curriculum calendar; when Coffs Harbour's 

entire dance community come together

CHDES Groups Saturday 6th - Monday 8th June

 

(CHDES block is from Saturday 16th May - Monday 8th June 2026)

 

This performance opportunity is part of our syllabus extension coaching dance education stream curriculum

and is made possible by our cārnivalé OPENSTAGE PROJECT initiative.

 

Invited students will rehearse and then perform at our hometown dance eisteddfod on a professional stage at Coffs Harbour University.

Tentative rehearsal dates set aside for the rehearsals are as follows ...

 

Autumn School Holidays

Thu 9th April and Thu 16th April

 

TERM 2

Sat 16th and/or Sun 17th May

Sat 23rd and/or Sun 24th May

Sat 30th and/or Sun 31st May (Family & Friends "Show'n'Tell")

Performance date/s are inclusive dates are Sat 6th-8th * see below

* CHDES Dance Eisteddfod Group performances are  held over the three days of the long weekend

and depending on the age division your child is in, will depend on which day/days your child will perform ​

(as soon as the program is released we can confirm your day/s and give an "guesstimate" of the time of performance)

As well as a time commitment from your family,

there is a cost involved: a flat rate fee of $10/genre per rehearsal/performance i.e 6 x sessions (including performance)

 

There is also a $30 costume flat rate hire fee

* a costume hire discount applies for participation in additional routine/s - see below​​
